Building Peaceful and Resilient Communities — Day 4 (Closing Day)
Saturday, October 11, 2025, marked the grand finale of our Income Diversification Training under the Nigeria SPRiNG Programme, held for participants from Tse-Akpuku and Ortese communities in Benue State.
Over the past few days, participants from Zongo, Daudu, Ugbugh, Imande-Dem, Imande-Akpu, and Abinsi communities—including youths, women, and persons with disabilities—have engaged in practical, hands-on sessions designed to strengthen livelihoods and foster peace in communities affected by prolonged conflict.
The closing session was filled with inspiring reflections and heartfelt gratitude as participants shared how the knowledge gained will help them rebuild their livelihoods, support their families, and contribute to more peaceful, self-reliant communities. Community groups also came together to pitch innovative business ideas they believe could one day make a lasting impact across Africa!
This training is not just about skills—it’s about restoring dignity, hope, and peace in communities that have experienced loss and displacement. It strongly aligns with the SPRiNG Programme’s vision of promoting peace, resilience, and inclusive economic recovery across Nigeria.
At #GoGreen, we believe that empowering one community at a time creates ripples of peace that transform generations. Together, we are planting seeds of resilience and hope for a more sustainable future.
