The Climate Action for Peaceful Coexistence (CAPC) project is a community-based climate-peace initiative implemented by GoGreen Environmental Health Sustainability Initiatives in Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State.
Implemented between November 2024 and February 2025, the project was co-funded by the KAMSYN Foundation in partnership with the NYSC Environmental Community Development Service (CDS) Group, Katsina-Ala. CAPC addressed the intersection between climate change, resource pressure, and farmer-herder conflicts in conflict-prone communities.
To promote peaceful coexistence between farmers, herders, and community members by increasing awareness of climate change impacts and strengthening community-led dialogue and cooperation.
