Nigeria SPRiNG Partners Convene in Benue to Co-Create Innovative Peacebuilding and Resilience Solutions for Year 3

3 Days, 3 Streams, Year 3 Loading!

This week, partners implementing the Strengthening Peace and Resilience in Nigeria (SPRiNG) Programme in Benue State came together for three days of intensive collaboration, strategic planning, and co-creation as part of preparations for the launch of Year 3 of the programme.

The sessions provided a dynamic platform for partners to reflect on lessons learned, strengthen coordination, and jointly design innovative, practical, and evidence-informed solutions that will drive the next phase of implementation. Key discussions focused on strengthening Early Warning and Early Response (EWER) systems, enhancing community security, promoting social cohesion, and expanding opportunities for the meaningful participation of women and young people in climate-resilient livelihoods.

The energy, creativity, and commitment demonstrated throughout the engagement reaffirmed a shared vision of building stronger, safer, and more resilient communities across Benue State. Through collaborative problem-solving and strategic planning, partners identified opportunities to deepen impact, strengthen local ownership, and improve the sustainability of peacebuilding interventions.

As we prepare to embark on Year 3, we are inspired by the innovative solutions emerging from this partnership and excited about the positive transformation they will bring to communities.

Together, through collaboration and co-creation, we are building stronger partnerships, resilient communities, and a more peaceful, secure, and sustainable Nigeria.
