GOGreen Environmental Health Sustainability Initiatives (GOGREEN) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria with operations based in Benue State, Nigeria. We are dedicated to promoting peace and stability, environmental health, climate resilience, and sustainable community development in Nigeria. Our mission is to empower vulnerable communities through innovative projects that address key issues such as conflicts between farmers and pastoralists, food insecurity, climate change adaptation, and Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH).
Since our incorporation, GOGREEN has been at the forefront of implementing programs that address some of the most pressing challenges affecting farmers, pastoralists, and the majority of the Benue communities. Our work is driven by a vision of a sustainable and equitable world where environmental health, food security, and social justice are seamlessly integrated. We have a proven track record of collaborating with local communities, governmental bodies, and international organizations to deliver impactful projects.
Currently, GoGreen is implementing the SPRiNG programme in Benue State. The SPRiNG Programme is an initiative of the UK Government aimed at Strengthening Peace and Resilience in Nigeria. This program is funded through the Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) and implemented by Tetra Tech International Development in Nigeria and GoGreen.
