GoGreen Hosts Nigeria SPRiNG MEAL Team for Data Quality Assessment to Strengthen Evidence-Based Impact in Benue State

GoGreen had the honor of hosting the MEAL Team from the Nigeria SPRiNG at our Benue Field Office for the Annual Data Collection and Data Quality Assessment (DQA) exercise.

The visit focused on evaluating data from the UK Government-funded SPRiNG–GoGreen AIPASD Project, validating reported results, and strengthening community-led data systems to ensure accuracy, accountability, and sustainability beyond project close-out. Through a comprehensive review of monitoring tools, data management processes, and reporting frameworks, the team provided practical technical feedback to consolidate gains achieved throughout the project lifecycle.

As part of the exercise, the team conducted on-site assessments in implementing communities, engaging directly with community structures and project participants. This enabled firsthand observation of project impact, while beneficiary testimonials highlighted improvements in coordination, documentation, and growing community ownership of peacebuilding initiatives.

The DQA process not only reinforced the integrity of our data systems but also strengthened our capacity for evidence-based decision-making. It was particularly encouraging to witness the measurable progress achieved in rural communities—clear evidence that strong partnerships and data-driven approaches are translating project goals into sustainable, real-world impact.

At GoGreen, we remain committed to leveraging data, partnerships, and community engagement to drive transparent, accountable, and impactful development outcomes across Benue State and beyond.
