GoGreen Advances Youth-Led Peacebuilding at Youth Peace Summit 2026 in Benue State

On March 24, 2026, GoGreen participated in the Youth Peace Summit 2026, organized by Heal the Youth Foundation with support from Christian Aid. The summit served as a strategic platform to promote youth-driven solutions for peacebuilding and social cohesion in Benue State.

The event brought together young leaders, civil society actors, and development partners to reinforce the critical role of youth as catalysts for peace and community resilience. Discussions emphasized the importance of empowering young people with the tools, knowledge, and opportunities needed to actively contribute to conflict prevention and sustainable development.

GoGreen’s participation underscored our commitment to inclusive, youth-centered peacebuilding approaches. During the summit, we shared insights from our ongoing interventions, particularly the AIPASD Project under the Nigeria SPRiNG Programme—funded by UK in Nigeria and implemented with support from Tetra Tech International Development Services.

Our contributions highlighted the impact of community-based peacebuilding initiatives, where youth play a central role in fostering dialogue, strengthening social cohesion, and building resilience within conflict-affected communities.

At GoGreen, we remain dedicated to supporting platforms that empower young people as agents of change, driving sustainable peace and development across Benue State and beyond.
