GoGreen Promotes Environmental Responsibility at SDG on the Street Phase III Campaign in Makurdi

SDG on the Street — July 10, 2026

On July 10, 2026, GoGreen joined fellow partners on the streets of Makurdi for the SDG on the Street Phase III Campaign, demonstrating the power of community ownership in protecting the environment and advancing sustainable development.

We believe the future of our communities will not be shaped by speeches alone—it will be shaped by collective action.

Through environmental sensitization at Wurukum Market, our team engaged traders, residents, and other community members on the importance of proper waste disposal, responsible environmental practices, and the role everyone must play in creating cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable communities.

The campaign provided an opportunity to connect directly with people, raise awareness about the consequences of indiscriminate waste disposal, and encourage simple but meaningful behavioral changes. Every conversation that inspires action, every trader who adopts better waste-management practices, and every volunteer who steps forward moves us closer to the sustainable future we all deserve.

At GoGreen, we understand that lasting environmental transformation begins with informed and empowered people. Protecting our surroundings is not the responsibility of government or environmental organizations alone—it requires the active participation of every community member.

The environment belongs to all of us. So does the responsibility to protect it.
